Pure Heart Reviews
theme: WPR

hmm. a splash that is both useful and pretty. what a rarity! I really like this layout, best one yet for this site. where are all the old updates? why close the form just cause you're going on vacation? that's what queus are for.
meet the peeps-honestly, i dont care what your favourite food is. i really dont. there is no such character as sera sataan. that is very insulting to people who have problems pronouncing certain things. why do people need to work at one wpr and then start their own? i really dont get it, fuck, just do one or the other.
submit-ugh, i hate those i agree dont agree things. poiiinnttlleesssss
archieve-no dates? that sucks. this could be a dead wpr for all i know. i'm checking a site IR has done to see how well you review. chibi jennifer's chibi land was given 99% by starfighter. my. bloody. god. hello useless? i remeber that site sucked ass. and here you are giving it a perfect grade. that's really great. note my sarcasm. i dont see anything else IR is done so that's all i can say.
now here is a point of great annoyance. Articles. i KNOW that IR was the first wpr to call rants 'articles'. i did that on purpose. and here is some upstart WPR copying me. ugh. is this how the W4 felt? you give credit to bishojo rants and raves? WHY? it's not like that WPR has the market on rants. EVERY WPR has rants. sheesh.
hello hypocrite. here is an article on how sugar coating is bad. -_- this is all stuff i've read/writen before, splash, flames, layouts...blah. did you look at IR's articles and then just copy our ideas?
now this is very important, and is pet peeve of mine.
WPRs-more than one WPR. ex: WPRs are useless.
WPR's-denoting possesion. ex: that WPR's webmistress is a bitch.
EDIT: upon readin my last review, i find that i said exactly the same thing. As they say, are you dumb or just stupid?
what the hell is this?? three rants start exactly the same way. awards, flames and i think layouts starts with the word itself, then 'we all get them' or something like that. damn, learn to write.
EDIT: Kaolinite pointed this out, but HEY that flames thing is about ME! (i didnt bother really reading it the first time) and look, you asked for opinion again! and look, you still got 'flamed!' still, you have gotten MUCH better, so good work i guess.
FAQ-if your site started as a general sm page, it is not the same site. there is no way this place is two years old with an archieve that short. once again, no one really asked these questions, they were made up by the webmistress. sound familiar? imitation, flattery, bullshit.
links-yknow what i hate? stupid wprs. i clicked on shining illusion reviews or whoever, and the first thing i see is unreadable text. HELLO? god, what stupidity. yeah, i want people who cant see their own major mistakes to tell me what i'm doing wrong. urg, tangent.
guestbook and links look good.
Overall, this WPR has nothing original about it, and looks to me like it even copied a few things off of IR. when there are so many other WPRs out there, there is nothing here that would make me come back.
nice layout though.
EDIT: i'm reading some of the reviews now, and it's bloody annoying to see the 'overall' that I, fishuu, do at the end of most reviews, at the end of their reviews. you could use a different word for crying out loud!

¤ The splash serves no purpose. The requirements are forgivable, except that all of them (except the resolution) are standards. About the resolution, 760 x 400 is not a standard resolution, and even if it is the size of the pop up it should be listed; the resolution of a computer and dimensions of a pop-up are quite different (it's all in the pixel size). The links to your sisters and awards should be on the actual site. It looks silly to have six empty spaces for sister links (a bit desperate). The layout and colour scheme is very bland; a two year old is capable of these graphics. Let's put some effort into them.
¤ It's kind of obvious that the links on the left are naviagation, you don't ave to tell up. Well, I am dissapointed that you couldn't even list the last update on the main page. The layout is slightly better, but the window border changes width, and the color of the graphics changes as well. By the way see what you can do about the add because it disrupts your layout. I was looking at your code, and noticed you do not use IFrames which surprised me since on the splash it was a requirement. All you have done is to use borderless frames, not IFrames.
¤ The 'Clear' link should really just be called home since clearing the page is different from returning home.
¤ Wow. One whole update. I prostrate before you oh great one.
¤ You really shouldn't all your reviewers 'The Senshi' since not all of you are have taken senshi names. Saturn/ Hannah has me worried: 'sometimes I learn a thing or two about HTML' (on reviewing). As a reviewer who own their own site and works for others, I would hope that you have reached a point where there is nothing syntactically you can't do with html. Also, no one except you people understand what 'critic rate' is (also I think you meant crtique rate). After reading this, why do I get the feeling you are all the same (seriously, there is little difference between you all...you can't all have pizza as your favourite food; what happened to sushi or fondue or ketchup)? One little note, you need to add js browser buttons the left frame to make navigation easiar.
¤ Wow...1-3 weeks waiting time? Why not just make it 5 months? Also, not all there are rules so I suggest renaming the section. Impressive submit form...why is Eternal Sailormoon the only person open for reviews? Why is there no 'review by all' option? The point of working on a review team is so people can get more than one opinion at a time.
¤ The archives is organized. Not much else to say about it.
¤ Wow, I don't know if I ought to laugh or cry. You include a rant about splash pages, and if I remember correctly, you too, have a useless splash. Haha, wow this is really one for the books: you ask us for a re-review ('I probably won't send them another review'), but on your flame page rant about Fishy's opinion on having reveiwers on multiple sites. In your own rules you add a stint about not submitting for reviews unless you are able to handle other people's opinions. I just noticed that only Eternal Sailormoon is th only person who writes any of these reviews. Here is a hint, if you hire people who will only work on your WPR, you will be much more productive.
¤ Not much to say on links, they are neat and clean...
¤ Good, the link buttons are standard size, but the non animated ones have horrendous compression.

Oooh, reviewing a review site. Fun.
Splash - One fo the few times a Splash is needed-- and only because it pops a window open to the size you want it to be. As is, I still think it's pretty useless.
Layout - Nice. Chibichibi. She's kinda scary, you know? Eh, anyways... an IFrame pop-up? Well, they do make things easier. The layout is nice in and of itself-- it's black and white. I like black. Uh, anyways...
Places Aian aint going - Updates, Links, Link PHR, Sign/View
The Senshi - Ah, your reviewers... Buffy? Buffy's where? And is Spike anywhere near by? Yes, I have a Spike obsession... anyways, your genaric, no-brains profile, that gives you information you don't really need to know. (Favorite food? Why do your clients need to know your favorite food?) And shouldn't you take down the profile of a reviewer who's left? Personally, I think it's a bit rude to broadcast someone's profile when they're no longer working for you.
Submit - No hentai? *pouts, then snickers* Had to, I'm sorry. The rules are pretty basic, that's cool. No need to confuse people with hundreds of new rules. The Form is down? Well, we've done that a few times ourselves, no biggy. And *YAY!* The form matches the layout! Whoo-hoo! BOOYAKA! er... ah... I'm going to... leave that sentence alone now... *edges away*
Archives- A fair number of reviews. *sighs* Is I Review the only one out there who has all their reviewers review the same site? Anyways, The reviews are nicely done, and nicely set up, although I'm not to fond of the whole "give a rating" system. I guess it comes with who I work for.
Articles - Always fun to read. Some of them sound like ours, eh Fishuu? *shrugs* Sound like, but aren't identical. Some people just share the same opnion on things.
FAQ- You spelt 'realise' wrong. *grins* Maybe you should call it 'Fictionally Asked Questions', if you're ego was the one who asked them. I'm in a better mood than when I reviewed the site that almsot crashed my computer. That's why I'm beign silly here. I think I'm making up for yesterday's bitch-fest. *shrugs*

Since this is a re-review of Pure Heart Reviews, known as Eternal Sailor Moon’s reviews originally, I’ll keep everything short and to the point.
Splash: The splash page isn’t useless, but I still don’t understand the current obsession with pop-up windows. All that stuff underneath the requirements could be put on a different page on the site.
Layout: I dare say that I am impressed, I’m going to do what I always dread from other review sites and say that your layout is “so…kawaii”, I don’t know how else to describe it, there’s nothing cuter than Manga Chibi-Chibi floating down from the sky with an umbrella and butterflies. Credit is even given for the butterflies on the main page!
Stuff that was eliminated from last time: I’m glad that you decided to scrap the idea of giving out 42 awards and those free graphics.
Updates: I guess it’s understandable that you’ll be away for a week. I’m just happy you posted that in your updates section.
Profiles: Not exactly enthralling to read, they didn’t give me any insight into the reviewers’ personality.
Rules: Very well laid out, you have a clever (though not unique) way of making sure that people read the rules. You should define what you mean by hentai. Some people think that artistic nudity is hentai (even though it exists in Sailor Moon) whereas others think that hentai is nude people in sexually provocative poses and still others think hentai is swearing and/or potty jokes. The form includes everything that is necessary, but one to three weeks is an unforgivable reviewing time.
Reviews: Eek…the reviews are still horrible and very unoriginal
Articles: This is a new addition, many of the articles look helpful, but wait a minute…a lot of these articles have the same content as “I Review’s”. This is my own opinion, I’ll link a site if I like it, I don’t care if that site links me back because I’m not that selfish. I link sites I like, whether they’ve helped me, entertained me or made me learn something new. A lot of the articles are too short, I’d be tempted to call those supposed articles, paragraphs simply because they are not lengthy. There are a few minor problems with tenses in the articles that should be checked over. Overall I was not impressed with this section.
FAQ: Answered all my questions, but it was rather short
Link Me: Hurrah, more buttons and all 88x31
Links: “I Review” is linked, that makes me happy enough
Overall: Your site has gone through few renovations since the last time it was reviewed. Your reviews are too short and too full of sugar, add some more flavour to your reviews (and by that I mean list the bitter, sour and hot with the sweet). Many aspects of this site still need to be improved.
Ciao for now! Kaioh Michiru
