theme: outer senshi
After this was published I received an email from the owner saying she was not the one to submit. so to whoever did submit it, READ THE FRIKKEN RULES!
Outer Limits, what a cool name! I like. The splash pic took a while to load. Splash isn't needed. See, this bothers me. sister sites are meant to be links to friends sites, they are special. having a dozen of them makes them meaningless. oh, there are all the adoptions. It doesn't look good centered. really.
Picture looks a bit squished. I like the copyright, small and not silly. Couple spelling errors in the updates, I like it that you add a lot of things in one go. Again, I don't like centered text.
Past Updates-too big font, no background? blah. I disagree. A site with a domain should be superb. If I wanted any old crap site I would look on geocities. A domain has an air of professionalism.
Profiles-broken link.
Pictures-no text, no layout, just pictures that aren't in real thumbnails. pah. The pluto and Neptune ones are on the same line and they shouldn't be. I'm clicking pics but it's taking so long..forget it!
Multimedia-this is taking forever. white space. riighhtt....you could at least put it in the purple box. This is another thing that bothers me. this is..Rant #6? (see WPR review) MULTImedia. as in, more than one media. Until then, call it something else. Not gonna bother downloading them, it'll take forever.
Awards-she gives out awards. Is there on flippin site that doesn't give these out? oh hey, a broken link.

Become a Sister Site-I don't want to bother reading this. black text on a white bg all in one paragraph. how exciting. there isn't even a form!
Link Me-this confused me. because of the button's white bg and the page's white bg, I thought we were supposed to link the little heads. hey man, buttons are small enough. which reminds me, yours is off standard size by a few pixels.
Links-?? pink text on black bg. gettin' fancy are ya? It's a big ass list. pah.
Add a link-I hate these. free advertising!!!! I dislike it because it makes the owner look lazy. and it's pointless here because there is already a huge list of sites. see above.
MB- a message board on a site with no regular visitors in the middle of nowhere with no content. do i even need to say it?
Reviews-You could at least name the WPR instead of just a site link. Bishoujo said you were great, then they said you suck, and some unknown gave you an A. Since you have a table to fit the nice and neat grade in, i'll sum up my review in two words: it sucks!
Credits-more links. is there anything on this site besides links?
Guestbook-ah, that's where the superb thing came from. oh boy..This has to be the best new website I've ever seen! Keep up the great work! And I love the manga pictures! This from a reviewer. Obviously this must be the only new site she's seen.
Overall-no content, no layout. why the hell did you ask for a review? oh yeah, I have nothing helpful to say, just read Kaioh. She's so much nicer, don't you think?
¤ Pointless splash. Interesting that you only have two affiliates yet have numerous vaccancies. Link buttons would have worked just as well, if not better. You could have at least editted the entrance pic.
¤ The bolded, italicised text is rather disturbing to my eyes. Don't switch between text weights and types so much. I use a 1024 x 768 resolution, and seeing that you recomended it, I'm saddened to find that you didn't make use of the space avaliable. The pic of the outers on the right side has a very very bad resolution, very pixalted. Good, the latest update is on the main page. The menu is very plain and bland. Overall, not very asthetically pleaseing.
¤ The 'past updates' is satisfactory, but boring. Graphics used wisely never hurt anyone.
¤ You're right. You should put the pictures in the gallery. One or two pictures in a profile is acceptable, but having thumbnails in the profile and in the gallery is redundant. Once again, the same exact profile offered on every site. Let's try to be creative and try a different approach next time. Uranus is a girl. She has masculine qualities, but this business of being a transvestite is a load of bull (and yes I have read the manga). Not much is said about Mistress 9...
¤ Well the thumbnails are at least real thumbnails, but sadly they are not done correctly. The proportions have been overlooked and therefore do not give an accurate representation of the picture. A few more pics wouldn't hurt. It looks like this was thrown together hastily.
¤ It's nice that you have plans to add the lyrics, but untill you get them, why do you have a heading with nothing under it? Wait till you get the lyrics to add the heading.
¤ Your awards are rather plain. Anyone can crop a picture and add text. It's easier on the applicant if you just put forms, especially if they are applying for multiple awards.
¤ In you 'become a sister site' section, you confused me with the bit about "I don't want to be orginial, I like being different". I thought if people were original they were being different.
¤ Your button is 88 x 38. The standard size is 88 x 31.
¤ Being this is an Outer Senshi site, I was expecting a lot more links related to them.
¤ You should credit the people whom you took your information from.
¤ Overall, this site is overly simple. Simple is good, but up to a certain point. Reading my syntax is more interesting than this site. They is very little use of color or graphics. At first , seeing the simplicity of this I though you had actually written the syntax, but upon looking at the source, I see that you used Frontpage, and therefore the blandness of your layout can not be overlooked. There really isn't much here,and there are score of sites that are similar to this one.
Okay first, if any letters are missing, or words are messed up, let me remind you that it's only 7:00 in the morning. It is dark outside. I don't like turning the lights on. So, technically, I'm typing blind.
Splash - The picture of the outers is quite interesting-- I rather like it. And, of course, it fits the page, because the page and the image bg are the same color. Hmmm, you seem to be hoping for lots of sister sites, ne?
Layout - Nice layout. The manga image is very nice-- especially since for some evil reason, most anime images of the outers exclude Hotaru... eh, anyways. I don't like the sign/view buttons, they just don't have the right... feel to them (mayhaps if they were blue? or purple?) at least the music thing isn't on when you enter. I happen to be very happy listening to Breeze right now.

Profiles - Shishi... what happened to the cool layout? You abandoned it for the tradition, full page spread, ne? Pluto, Neptune, Uranus: Most of the information seems to be correct. I don't agree with the "Awarded stronger powers". While their base attacks are strong, the outer senshi have LESS attacks and a lesser range of abilities than the inner. Saturn: I couldn't find any faults in the information...
Pictures - The archive is fairly small, but a number of pictures I haven't seen before (then again, lately I've really only seen my archive, since the rebuilding of it...)
Multimedia - Three MIDI. And I happen to be listening to It's All A secret, so no listenign for me. Ooo Jax-sama Amp... er...

Reviews - The Reviews of the site by other people. And interesting addition. I don't think I've seen one of these before (at least... I don't remember seeing one of these... ^.^)
Yeah, a site devoted to my favourite group of senshi, this should be fun!
Splash: You obviously know that the splash page takes a long time to load, so why do you put so many things on the page? The splash image could be quite a bit smaller and the cliques should go on a separate page. When I went into your site I don’t know what resolution I had my browser on but all I know is that once I changed it to 1024 x 768 your site looked pretty much the same. Therefor, my conclusion is that you have a useless splash page that takes forever to load. The splash page took so long to load that I would have left if I didn’t have to review it.
Main: I don’t like the layout that much. The layout is rather drab and blah. The colour of light gray that you used for the all rights reserved text is way too light; you should make it considerably darker. Aah…it’s the curse of the midis, at least you made it optional to listen to, and it doesn’t start out immediately upon entering. I would suggest putting up another midi because I have heard the “outers transform” midi on just about every shrine to the outers on the net.
Profiles: The profile page leading to the separate senshi profiles is bland. The separate senshi profile pages are also bland and the profiles were boring. I’m glad that you had real thumbnails because if I had to wait for the full sized pictures on envy.nu than I would die because I have a telephone Internet connection. The pictures still took forever to load though when I clicked on them. I didn’t check all the pictures as a result of the incredibly long loading time for one picture. It took about two minutes just to load one picture; I was about ready to pull my hair out. Perhaps you should specify that your outers site is based on the Manga not the Animé because it certainly appears that most of the information comes from this source. The identities and powers were something I already knew. The facts section of each profile was somewhat interesting, but you need to write summaries about the characters and their roles in the BSSM series in your own words. You should also write your opinions concerning each of the characters.
Pictures: You have a small collection of pictures at the moment, but they are good quality. Perhaps you should focus on getting some group pictures of the outer senshi in your gallery. Yet again I must say that the full sized pictures take forever to load and this made me feel like scratching my fingernails over the surface of a chalkboard to relieve the tension.
Pluto: This is one specific mistake I found in your Pluto section. How could Pluto be over 1000 years old if she was born in 1975? I think that you should fix that up.
Multimedia: This is an incredibly small section consisting of let me count 1, 2, 3 midis. I can get these midis anywhere, and their aren’t even lyrics to the songs with them. None of the midis even worked when I clicked on them.
Awards to Win, Awards I've Won, Become a Sister Site, Links, Reviews: All dead links and the Link me section isn’t even up yet
Message board: Your message board is completely pointless. (Argh!) Just about every site has those things now-a-days and 90% of them are absolutely useless.
Overall: You have no back buttons, except on the individual profile pages. The only way I can describe the layout on all sections in your site is blah. The layouts are incredibly bland and need some spicing up. The font is very drab and adds to the monotonousness of the site. I’m glad that you put the pictures in real thumbnail form, but the full sized pictures still take forever to load. I would not come back here again; half the links are dead and there's not much unique information here. The layout is bland and the pictures take forever to load and in addition to that there’s next to no multimedia, interaction and opinions. None of the information was new to me either. This site was easy to review because half the links were dead. If you plan to keep this site up then first of all move it to another server, second of all fix up the dead links and third of all put up something unique.
