Fleurs de Justice
Theme: fan art/fiction

"Flowers of Justice", what a great name for the senshi team. Really has nothing to do with fanfiction, but oh well! I love this layout. This the best layout I've seen in a while. Perfect organization, colours, everything! My only complaint is that the link are not directly underneath the titles, they are off to the right by a few pixels. Only a reviewer would notice that, so who cares?
B&W manga-hmm, this is certainly a unique layout. It has some problems though. I don't like how it scrolls, nor the Home links' placement. The main image doesn't need the brush effect. Okay, this leads to some thumbs, which at first I thought was the whole gallery! No, they are lead-offs to more pages. That is..blah. All you need to do is have ONE gallery page that is really long and wide. Then list all the subdivisions with text files only. I don't like your excessive seperation at all. Also, since most of your galleries aren't up yet, change the pages to reflect that. NOBODY likes to see these empty spaces and useless titles. Since your policy is so lax I'm guessing you didn't scan all these yourself?
oooh, Manga covers! That's really great, quite a unique thing to see. Your layout is really inconsistent, you've got to work on that. Aww, colouring book pictures! These are a great addition too.
Wow, this is an awesomely impressive fanart collection. Once again, it's organized to death! Really unnecessary. So you got permission for each of these? dag, yo. You've got quite a bit of fanfiction too! Nice. However, there is no way that i'd dive into a fic without reading a summary on it. That's something major you need to add. The poetry is a good addition. I can't imagine anyone reading this stuff though. Since your submission guidelines are linked within the subsection you don't have to link it on the main page. or vice versa, whatever.
This is where I notice that this site doesn't really have a theme. Sure, fanfiction was what was submitted in my form and there is a lot of it, but there is a lot of other stuff too. Just an observation.
Oh, this music stuff is cool. dear me, this french theme is really awful.. I understand every other word, the lyrics sound like the NA English theme. Italian is pretty bad music with a nice voice. *nods* "sailor moon, sailor moon, c'est fantastical!" hahah. geez, the german one could be an uinderground club hit! no one would notice where it came from!! Find a DJ and try it! *evil* I love the Chinese one. Okay, on to other stuff now. Lyrics, yay. This doesn't need a seperate page at all, just link them on the in rotation page.
aah, you've got a bunch of links which are all under titles. YES! ^_^ Your buttons/banners don't match the image skills required to make this layout. you should update them.
BLAH! awards!
a disclaimer does not need a seperate page. who reads these things anyway?
Overall, this is a really great site. Fisheye is impressed. The content is of good quality, but there needs to be much more of it. Excellent layout and organization. Your personality did not annoy me. Good job.

¤ The layout while not spectacular is very refined and user-friendly. Mainpage is quite informative and very organized overall. Nicely done.
¤ The updates archieve is organized and even has a navigation menu, something many sites tend to neglect these days. Graphics are used tastefully.
¤ Quite extensive gallery. On the individual pages, the text is small for larger browsers and not all the pictures load (i.e. Princess Serenity, Super Sailormoon, Neo-Queen Serenity,Princess Mercury, etc...). Correct thumbnails are used which greatly helps in loading, though the link borders do get a bit annoying, (but nothing too intrusive). There are a few unlinked sections and empty galleries which detract from the gallery; refrain from listing the gallery until it is complete or substantially complete. The policy link is easy to overlook; try putting it in a more prominent place such as on the mainpage or towards the top left, or center.
¤ The coloured gallery is in much the same state as the bw gallery. Several sections have only 2 or 3 pictures, which makes the section look incomplete.
¤ The manga covers section is very nicely done, this is the first site I have seen with the backs scanned as well. The policy is stated on the top, which is how the others whould be done (if possible).
¤ The colouring pages follows the standard of the previous section.
¤ Rather impressive fanart compilation. In the submission guidlines, the phrase "eventual website URL" is somewhat confusing; URL would suffice word-wise.
¤ The fanfiction collection is rather limited since there is only one author. While waiting for submissions, it never hurts to recruit authors as well. The title and author indices are helpful, though a senshi/ subject index would also be useful.
¤ The poetry section is similar to the fanfiction section, and the two sections are so small that they could be merged.
¤ The mp3 rotation and international sections are satisfactory; the descriptions are helpful.
¤ The lyrics section is rather limited, I realize the you have a limited list of mp3's because of space constraints, but with the lyrics you could list more songs. The episode information and artiste listings are a nice touch.
¤ The links are neatly organized, though several of the links are cliche/ overrated and most visitors have heard of them; some are lesser known though and are uesful.
¤ The banners and buttons are of good compression and correctly sized, though some are hard to read and are not of amazing quality.
¤ The awards, though redundant, are well organized and clearly cited.
¤ The disclaimer is satisfactory, though in order to appear more professional you might want to look up the copyright dates.
¤ Overall this site is one of the better ones I have reviewed. The layout is quite organized and user-friendly. The only flaws are the limited content and the graphics could be better, but suffice for the present.

Out of the reviews for this week, this is likely to be the only one I did. Mostly because I went on vacation from friday night to the following friday night. Cosplay and Camping, what could be more fun?
Layout - Nice shade of purple-blue, it blends quite nicely with the image of Serenity. Text matches well, although the layout doesn't look like it can handle a lot of text; table layouts are generally like that unless iframes are used.
Places Aian does not go - Links List, Music List
Galleries - Layout changes, but at least manages to stay with the same colors. I can understand this bit of a layout change, due to what I already said about small tables needing iframes. However, the change again, when clicking for an archive is useless. A simple frames, or iframes change, to put the images where the section name image is would work just as well, and would be easier to navigate (at least, for me.) The layout changes again, when you hit Manga covers...
Writings - Well, at least this part of the layout stays the same (the same as the Manga covers, I mean...). You weren't kidding when you said it was a small archive of fics. Shall I peak my nose into it? Yay! The first thing I read was shoujo ai. I am a happy girl! *grins* No no want to read poetry. *grumbles* Makes me realise how bad at poetry I am...
I do believe that's it. I have a bunch of emails to respond to so I'd best be off. Ta!

Main: The name is original and I can kind of see how the “fleurs” part has to do with fanart and fanfiction on a metaphorical level. The layout is fairly simplistic, but elegant and colour co-ordinated. The introductory description told me exactly what to expect. I thank God that you had enough common sense not to include a splash page.
B&W Manga: The titles of the sections should be changed on the top of the browser so that when I go to the B&W Manga section, that’s what it says, not “Fleurs de Justice”. The title image for this section took forever to load, but I’m not sure why. Maybe your policy should be under the title image and not on a separate page. People can easily skip over policies if they happen to be written on a separate page. The policy seems fairly standard. ~Sob~ I’m offended over the fact that you have pictures of every other senshi including Cosmos and Kakyuu but none of me, Kaioh Michiru. Anyway, I’ll just look at the pictures you have. Obviously the gallery isn’t completed yet due to the massive amount of characters that don’t have links yet, but at least those pages don’t lead to under construction signs. The images are extremely organized. The pictures you do have are high quality and in real thumbnail form (yeah!) but don’t have any ALT text. I –heart- ALT text, they are essential to describing a picture. The individual galleries didn’t have any back buttons. Perhaps you should expand your Tsukino Usagi gallery to include pictures from more than just the first volume. You have many pictures of Usagi and Sailor Moon but the other sections should definitely be expanded. This is an impressive gallery; I can’t wait for it to be completed! My only complaints are the lack of ALT text and back buttons.
Colour Manga: Surprisingly there are two or three pictures in this gallery that I haven’t seen before (that’s rare because I collect Manga pictures on my computer). Same comments apply to this gallery as the last one: organized, no ALT text (add some), put in back buttons, can’t wait to see the gallery completed. Um…I think you should take down certain headers in the colour Manga section, I doubt you’ll be able to find individual colour pictures of the Quartet, Phobos and Deimos and various other characters. You should cut down on the number of characters focused upon in this section. Yeah for real thumbnails! It’s too bad you couldn’t edit out the fold caused by the spines of books.
Manga Covers: Hurrah for ALT text. I’m impressed at the fact that both the front and back covers are scanned. Nothing seems to be lacking in this section.
Colouring Book: Pictures should have ALT text, but everything else looks good.
Fanart: Fanart is very organized, with e-mail addresses and homepages (if the artists happen to have one) and real thumbnails. My only complaints are some of those listed about the colour and b&w manga sections. Hurrah, I actually found a fanart picture of Taiki that I don’t have in my collection yet, I need to ask the fanartist if I can put that picture up on my future site “Poetic Eyes”. Finally some Neptune pictures, time for me to delve in. I’ve noticed that most of your pieces of fanart are just by a few artists, you should expand the selection, I’m not saying that Jeffery Anderson is not a great fanartist, but there’s more to life than just a few fanartists. I’m currently asking all sorts of fanartists if I can use their fanart for “Poetic Eyes” and it’s not even open yet. The requirements for submission are well described but you say in the requirements that a person must submit their “eventual website URL” I know this is getting specific, but a lot of people already have websites/don’t plan to put a website up ever so specify that.
Fanfiction: The rules for submission are well laid out. I noticed your poetry section is currently empty, so I might send in two of my poems. This section is very organized, the poetry doesn’t have a left right scroller and you even have author profile pages! The only thing you should consider is some summaries of the fanfiction. Um…you have such a large variety of authors (rolls eyes) I love Kotetsu’s writing, but get more authors in your index; a good place to start is the Starlight Pops fanfiction section. The fanfics should also have titles on the top of the browser.
Music: I like the idea of MP3 rotation, it allows for someone to download songs without the threat of bandwidth consumption. You mention that Japanese mp3 songs will be posted in that section, but right now you only have Sailor Moon songs. It makes sense that you only have Sailor Moon songs, but at least try to get a little more variety if you state that the MP3 rotations are “Japanese mp3 songs” with no specification for Sailor Moon. What’s the international section going to be about? International Sailor Moon songs? I’m glad you have lyrics to go with the MP3s and credits. MP3s should be zipped.
Links and such: Wow, this is like a mini-link directory and “I Review” is listed. I have no complaints in the “link me” department. Overall: I liked this site, it just needs a little more variety in terms of fanartists and fanfic writers. You also need ALT text and to complete your galleries. I was actually impressed with this site! Just take down a few of the pages that say “not done yet” because those are basically the equivalent to an “under construction” sign. I can’t believe I actually enjoyed looking at the two sites I reviewed this week.

Why not starting off with telling us what the hell your name means! I have no idea. I just know it doesn't mean Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon. The layout is so dull. The image is nice, but it is very dull. Okay, you submit to us, yet in your gallery more then half of the pictures aren't even up yet? And why do you have a gallery site? There are so many now. Oh come on. You have a lot of photos, but most of them are in a lot of places on the net. Very few of these I have't seen. A back button would help a lot! I hate having to use my back button all the time, it hurts my arm. No Anime? Shame.

Coloring pages. How unoriginal. I have seen these coloring pages so many times it makes me sick. I am so tired of seeing the same images over and over, and you make a gallery site, thats very unoriginal. Fanart, eh, nothing that makes me say 'Ooo'. Your layout is really bugging me, you have nothing but a white background. Why not put some effort into it? Another thing that really bugs me, you put up the text, but you don't even have the link up. You should just take down the text untill you have that page ready. Eh. I don't really like fan fiction. It's nothing but a story of silly hopes and dreams. But I looked over some and found some spelling and grammar errors.

Thats all the lyrics you have? Three songs? Come on! You can find so much more then that! That is so sad. There are so many mp3's and midi's around that you could have all of them. But no. You have three. Ooh you linked us though. That's good. Um. Have thumbnails for your awards. You do it for everything else. A disclaimer should be on the site, not in a seperate page. Most people won't bother to even click there to see it.

Though this is a good start to a gallery site, it is not what most people are looking for. I know I don't really ook for originality in a site, but a gallery site is probably the most unoriginal thing you can come up with, next to a WPR. You need to put up all your pictures before you put up your site. I was really disapointed that almost half of your pictures were not up yet. Before you submit to a WPR, you might want to make sure that you have everything up, or, as you can see, you will get a very bad review.

I suggest you work very hard on this if you really want a gallery site. Expand it a bit and look more at your organazation. And you should work on getting a better layout, the one you have now is very plain and very dull. Nothing stands out to me.

Oh my, so far this is very nice, the name of the page is nice (I love French). The title is also simple with just having the name of the site and no little things like "*~*Fleurs de Justice*~*" or something. The layout could blend in with the background more, but the color choice is nice.
The font is nice also, and how your links get underlined when they've already been clicked on. This site is very professional, and has alot of content. And yes, you even make it clear that this is an art site, so I don't have to complain about content ^^ You have plenty of it, and it's so very organized!
I think the only problem this site is giving me is the fact that many galleries and some sections aren't up yet. But considering that you just got a guestbook, I would assume this site is new. Oh wait, no it isn't, but it's not that huge of a deal, because you have a good amount of content in the pages that are up. You have a great amount of links, and it's no surprise you have these awards. I really have nothing else to say about this webpage, except for great job. This page most certainly isn't a waiste of time.
